  • Agricultural Container Recycling Council (ACRC)
    The ACRC is an organization funded and managed by agricultural pesticide manufacturers to facilitate the collection and recycling of one-way rigid HDPE plastic agricultural crop protection products. It is a voluntary organization except in California where participation became mandatory in 2008 with the passage of SB 1723.

  • Clean Production Action
    CPA partners with a wide range of organizations to help in developing policies and strategies that promote clean production. The link goes to CPA's 2003 EPR Tool Kit, a free downloadable compendium of information from Europe and elsewhere.

    CTBC is active throughout the U.S. and supports full producer responsibility for end-of-life electronic products.

    A European alliance of industry & NGOs. “Individual producer responsibility encourages competition between companies on how to manage the end-of-life phase of their products. This in turn drives innovation, such as in business models, take-back logistics and design changes, to reduce the environmental impact of products at the end of their life.”

  • Keep California Beautiful
    Keep California Beautiful's mission is to ignite individual, community and corporate responsibility and pride through active resource conservation and waste minimization to enhance California's beauty for generations to come.

  • Minnesota Office of Environmental Assistance
    A leader in Product Stewardship activities, the State of Minnesota has product stewardship initiatives for electronics, carpet and paint.

  • Pesticide Stewardship Alliance

  • Product Policy Institute
    The Product Policy Institute's mission is to develop and communicate a strong framework for product-focused environmental policies that advance sustainable production and consumption and good governance. PPI has been helping launch the California Product Stewardship Council.

  • Product Stewardship Institute
    The Product Stewardship Institute was created to assist state and local government agencies in establishing cooperative agreements with industry and environmental groups to reduce the health and environmental impacts from consumer product manufacture, use, storage, and disposal.

  • Rechargeable Battery Recycling Association
    A nonprofit, public service organization dedicated to rechargeable battery recycling.

  • Sustainable Packaging Coalition
    The Sustainable Packaging Coalition is an industry working group inspired by cradle to cradle principles and dedicated to transforming packaging into a system that encourages economic prosperity and a sustainable flow of materials.

  • Teleosis Institute
    The Teleosis Institute is devoted to developing effective, sustainable health care provided by professionals who serve as environmental health stewards.

  • Thermostat Recycling Corporation
    The Thermostat Recycling Corporation (TRC), a not-for-profit corporation founded and operated by thermostat manufacturing companies, facilitates the nationwide collection of all brands of used, wall-mounted mercury-switch thermostats so that the mercury can be purified for re-use.
